This book is intended to bring about awareness of potential FIRE hazards in your home that are right under your nose. In today's modern world with so many distractions, it is very easy to overlook things that need our attention. We live in a hurry up world. We don't take the time to pay attention to possible dangers lurking in the shadows of our homes.
Some, I believe, have been lulled into what I call "A glance over life style". We are hurrying and scurrying and don't take time to look, think, and consider our surroundings. We must stop and train ourselves to be aware of the ever looming dangers that may lurk in our homes. We have to learn to pay attention. We have to stop being inattentive.
So I wrote this book to get you to pay attention. I want you to look, think, consider and make any necessary changes to give yourself a safer home environment. I will attempt to point out things that you may not have considered as any type of danger. Once I point them out, I believe that it will raise your awareness of what you may not have paid much attention to in the past.
My hope is that this book will start you on a path that will get you in the habit of closely looking for and eliminating potential hazards. When you read this book you will find that the things that I point out are from the multitude of hats I have worn and the training I received in these pursuits.
The title of this book is k.O.P.S. koncentrate-on-prevention-survey. The focus here is on the word Survey. To survey is to look for information that will give you a clue to possible future outcomes such as, "if this is present now what might happen in the future?" So from here I will give you information that I hope will make you aware of the potential situations that could lead to disastrous outcomes.
What I also hope to accomplish is to give you a taste of some of the things that are dangers right under your nose that you have the ability to do something about. What you won't fine is an all inclusive list of everything that could possibly ever go wrong but it will be a list that will put you on the “pay attention” track. The things that I bring to your attention are the things that have a high possibility of being a hazard. I believe that this book will be a tremendous help for you and your love ones.
